DONATIONS TO RAMAKRISHNA MATH & RAMAKRISHNA MISSION SEVASHRAMA - PRAYAGRAJ
Ramakrishna Math, Prayagraj (Allahabad) and Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Prayagraj is a branch center of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission with its Headquarters at Belur, Howrah (West Bengal).
Manifesting Swami Vivekananda’s preaching “Shiva Jnane Jiva Seva — Service to Man is Service to God” into action, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Prayagraj has taken up various service and educational activities. These activities are carried out by the cooperation of our Devotees, Volunteers & Admirers through their active participation in the activities and/or through financial contribution to the different Funds of the Math. Fund is completely used for the Service Activities for which the donation is made.
Endowment Donations: Interest of the fund is used for the Service Activities for which the donation is made.
Donations to the Ramakrishna Math, Prayagraj are exempted from Income Tax under Section 80G(5)(vi) of the IT Act, 1961. Section 11 clause(i) of first proviso to sub-section (5) of section 80G. vide Provisional Approval Number: AAATR3497GF20214 dated 28/05/2021 which is valid for 5 financial years starting from FY 01/06/2021-2022 (AY 2026-27).

Our Immediate Requirements

Endowment Fund: i. Kumbha Mela and Magh Mela : Maintenance of free medical services, religious discourses, exhibition, book stall, shrine and pilgrims accommodation facilities etc.
ii. Charitable Dispensary : Free treatment for poor and needy, including medicines
iii. Computer Training Centre : Free and part free course fee for poor needy students
iv. Welfare / Relief Works: Free distribution of garments, saris, blankets, utensils, food items etc.
v. Maintenance of Library
vi. Children Development Project: Free coaching and distribution of necessary items to 100 poor students from nearby slum areas.
vii. Thakur Seva & Sadhu Seva : Maintenance of temple and Thakur seva, puja and sadhu seva.
viii. Value Education and Personality Development: Free grooming character building classes for youth and students.
ix. Land and Building Fund: Maintenance and development of building, shrine, auditorium, library
x. General Library: Capital expenditure for the purchase of text books for students and children.
